I am very patient and willing to help, learn to make sure the client have good care. Being able to help the client, balance that to daily living activities and to give them a reason to want to continue to push, and forward to do better and to get better . being able to give the client a reason to wanna live.

I became a Caregiver in 1998 because i enjoy helping others. I enjoy talking to and listening to the awesome stories that clients tell about their life. You began to get to know one another and build a bond. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified. I have over 20+ years as a CNA.I am currently in school to finish my degree in Education. I am a dedicated caregiver with empathy and understanding. I connect really well with my patients and home care clients and just love taking care of others. A caregiver isn't a job for just anyone. You have to have special characteristics to provide excellent care, I am honest, trustworthy, friendly, punctual, caring, good listener, patient and selfless. My happiness comes from helping others. As I grew up I took care of myself, as a teen I moved in with my grandparents so I could take care of them ever since then it's always been my dream to help others. Also I have worked in nursing homes and it broke my heart to see how residents are cared for. People seem happier in their own homes so if there is something I can do to help them stay in their home I will do it. Through the years I've had several clients, I have never had a client that has not liked me. I am proud to say that I have brought happiness to other people's lives and provided the best care that I could.

I used to care for my grandmother back home. This is my first time applying for a caregiver job here in the United States but I have took a CNA course and did my clinical hours. I am also currently in Nursing School so I have experienced taking care of patients so I do think, I will be a great fit for this job. I love taking care of people and that is the main reason why I decided to go into nursing and also become a caregiver. I am very proud of the fact that I have made it through two semesters of Nursing School, because nursing school is very hard and even though I have thought about giving up so many times I am still pushing through. I enjoying seeing my patients smile. I love when they are happy to see me which makes me feel like I am doing a great job taking care of them. I love seeing my patients get the best care that they need. I am very compassionate, patient, trustworthy, dependable and attentive so I do think this will be a very good fit for me.

What makes me a great caregiver? My compassion for helping others, my friendly smile, and my great attitude. I became a caregiver to help others who need it, I enjoy talking to my residents, keeping them company and putting a smile on their face. I am personally proud that I can make even the toughest resident smile on a bad day. I enjoy being a CNA.
