I became a caregiver because my grandmother needed me to help her stay independent and at home. I became a caregiver because of my parents in need of care...During a 36+year period I have worked as a caregiver/home-care aide also assisted caring for my parents until they departed. I was taught to honor thy mother/ father and respect others at a young age... Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! I started young as a medical assistant..continued working in Healthcare on and off for nearly 30 yrs. Came home to be caregiver to my parents and continued in caregiving since their death.
