I was a licensed CNA from 2004 to 2019. I became certified when I was just 17 years old and I have loved helping people my whole life. I have worked in skilled nursing facilities as well as in-home settings. Since 2008, I have cared for many local clients in their homes and helped them with everything from daily hygiene, shopping, appointments, cooking, cleaning, etc. I have experience with the young and the elderly. Helping people and making sure they are safe and have what they need is my passion.

Then we would pick out her clothes, see to her shower and she always insisted on “helping” me. It gave her a sense of pride and self-worth to help. After 10 months with them, Helen's medical status required her to return to the nursing home. Even after this, Bill would call me to help with her doctor appointments, or just to give me updates on Helen. This profile asked me to list the achievement I am most proud of, and this is the one that brings a sense of accomplishment and pride. I feel I touched their lives in a positive way, and they embraced me as “family”. Though they both have passed, I always remember them with great af
