I've became a care giver when I was 12 years old I took care of my grandmother when she was sick. What really made me became a certified nursing assistant is when I got old enough I took the class because I love to help people I realize that my help would go a long way!! IT GIVES ME GREAT PLEASURE TO BE OF SERVICE TO PEOPLE THEN NEED OR WANT TO DO BETTER FOR THEMSELVES AND NEED A LITTLE OR A LOT OF HELP. I WENT INTO THE HEALTHCARE FIELD AT THE AGE OF 17 WORKING WITH THE MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND DISABLED, THAT GAVE ME EVEN MORE OF A PLEASURE BECAUSE THEN WORKING IN A FACILITY THERE WAS LITTLE GOO HELP AND I FELT AS THOUGH I COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF NOT IN SEVERAL LIVES , JUST ONE. FROM THERE I WENT INTO PRIVATE CARE DUTY, CARING FOR A WOMAN AND HER HUSBAND TILL THEIR DEATH. I DONE THAT FOR 2 YEARS AND HAD TO TAKE A BREAK AWAY FRO THE HEALTHCARE FIELD BECAUSE OF THE ATTACHMENT THAT I HAD GOTTEN TOWARD THEM. I JUST LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE ,I LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE AND THE CHALLENGES THAT COME WITH THAT. MY MOTTO IS, "IF I CAN CHANGE JUST ONE PERSONS LIFE , I HAVE DONE MY JOB".

I have 12 years experience caring for seniors and mentally disabled in their home, hospital, and nursing facility's. I have a wide range of experience from providing companion care to extensive medical care with g-tubes tracheotomy care wound care medication administration assisting with all daily living needs including showers feeding changing and dressing . I have been told that I have a special gift caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients, I have a way of being able to get on their level, communicating and providing care that is undescribable. I grew up around health care and was always very interested so I thought I would give it a try at young age. Now, I have been doing this for 17 years and counting. I love helping people and listening to their stories ,fears ,concerns and continued dreams. I know that helping people has also helped me grow into a better person. I have helped people at home nursing facilities ect. and have helped them in any way I possibly vould. Some just needed a friend.
