Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! In all I'm very nice funny smart well educated and trained caregiver who takes pride in my work; I do what I do because I care and respect my clients and families I truly want to help provide my best to benefit everyone!!

I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother. I am very passionate about taking care of people with disabilities or assisting the elderly in their daily living skills. My Name is Pearlie, I have always had the caretaker trait since I was around 10 years old. I was the grandkid that wanted to stay in the house and help my grandmother take care of my granddad and the person that want a babysitting job in the summer to help out the family. It make me feel good to do for others when the can't or have no one to help them complete their daily living duties. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. What I like about being a caregiver isthat you never know how a person is feeling and when you come through the door their whole day just brightens up. Then advanced to CNA at St Francis Hospital in Blue Island from 1977-1982 upon receiving by BA degree from Lewis University in Romeoville Il in 1981 proceeded to work as an abuse investigator for the state of Illinois. I have excellent combination and written skills. I have an innate ability to know what people need and have a way to help them express their feelings so I can further asses their needs. I absolutely love helping the elderly and anyone who needs assistance with every part of their life to help them enjoy life to the fullest.
