I love the field I feel great at the end of the day when I do and care for someone. I dicided ended that this is what I wanted to do. Making people happy and comfortable. I love to make people smile, and I love to hear people stories and just a really basically meeting new people. The things that I try to me to be a caregiver number one is my mom. She was a CNA for my whole life. She also was a union representative for the 1199 SCIU healthcare workers union and she just always taught me things because I'm the oldest girl out of five kids And I grew up very family orientated and grew up in the caring home. I also got to know my great great grandmother and my grandmother and I just love older people. They just so cute and I love to hear stories about their lives and things like that and also like to make a difference And be a great companion. The thing I like most about being a caregiver is knowing that I helped someone who is in need and just being there for them. It's beyond just bathing and feeding and cleaning. Companionship is also a huge part of being a caregiver. One personal achievement that I have is going back to school to further my education, hopefully I will become specialist in geriatric care.

i like helping others out that are in need of extra help or extra hand , and i do well with others , especially those that are a lot older. I speak a few languages ! I was born in Kenya, migrated here 2004, here to spread love and care ! We all deserve comfort. It's an experience I wanna try and see if it can be my career.

1-Reason I became a caregiver, love providing home care giving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2-I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh so achieving a smile on their face. 3- I am a single parent and also raised 2 children with medical needs, I learn to balance out work and home to achieve the best work possible in all areas.
