I am a healthcare professional with 25+ years experience working in geriatric, memory care, dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I work in hospice care, palliative medicine, end of life care. I am a patient, compassionate, good listener, kind, caring caregiver. I do skilled nursing, wound care, first aid, post surgery care for transitioning patients to homecare. My start in healthcare was volunteering at the Red Cross, church and community outreach , I have worked eight years at the Washtenaw County DHS with CLS/CMH organizations as consumer advocate . I have worked long years managing assisted living facilities, nursing homes, directing memory care units, training, teaching and mentoring. I have earned Bachelor's of Science from EMU and Surgical Technology program from WCC. I am passionate about helping people to better their lives and improve their health.

I been working in the home health care field well over 10 years now. I'm very supportive and caring. I've been fortunate to work with some great families in the Ann Arbor communities and beyond. I choose to be in this Field for many reasons, the Major one is because I have the heart and patients to take care of someone who is struggling. Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient.
