Hi, my name is Lisa. I'm 49yrs old. Married to my befriend 25yrs who pasted away unexpectedly Christmas 2011. We have 3girls. 2of our own and the 3rd we adopted. They are my blessings & have blessed me with son 2too be 5 grandchildren. My mother was an RN, father a physical therapist. I'm a Capricorn making me a loyal& trustworthy person. I'm easy to get along with and take pride in my work. I've volunteered hundreds of hours since I was 13yrs old in various VA hospitals and nursing facilities. I'm an avid believer in giving back what you can when u can. I've been a licenced Cosmotalagist for 28yrs with the last 15yrs doing in home clients who can not get to a shop which brings me to where I am today being a care giver. I owned a shop in Clinton Mo in the early 90s & once a month for 5yrs would close shop to the public and spend 2days doing "camelot kids". Kids from.low income families could come in & get free shampoos haircuts lice treatments manicures etc. I enjoy being able to go to peoples homes and assist them with everyday tasks and I enjoy the friendships that builds. I live alone now and am able to this work. I have some medical knowledge growing up inn the medical field & being a hairdresser makes me the perfect candidate for being a personal caregiver.

Hello! I'm Leighah, I have been a caregiver for a few years. I was drawn to becoming a caregiver to help others and also because my mother has Multiple Sclerosis. I saw her struggle to do small tasks and how offering to help her made her days a little bit easier. I am a very patient and compassionate person. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like connecting with families to help make things easier and it adds joy to my day. I am a very detail oriented person so I like to keep things clean.

I have wanted to become a caregiver because I work at a summer camp that works with people that have disabilities, and I really enjoy hanging out with them and getting to know them. I am a fun, outgoing person, that really enjoys getting to know people. I like to help people accomplish things that they do not get to do everyday. I am proud of all of the people that I got to work with this past summer that told me they enjoyed being around me, and me being able to help them achieve things that they do not get to do outside of camp.

My grandfather had cancer and there was no one there to help my grandma. I love the smiles I and stories I get to hear from them. I have went to collage still in collage and with my experience's I have grown personally to be a better and more giving person. I have letters of thanks that I am very proud of from past clients. I am a giving reliable caring person. I am in school for Psychology to help understand and talk to and better help those in need.
