Nursing isn't just a job for me it's my passion, I've been caring and nursing clients, and patients for 5 years now. I know that this is a life long thing for me I lost my mother in 2017 that drove me to the nursing world because I've made a life long vow to myself to help others when they aren't able to help them self's and I do this with great honor and respect.

I am very passionate about being a caregiver I also have a large amount of experience with bathing, and toileting, grooming and housekeeping and so much more. I am hard working. I am very outgoing with a positive and amazing attitude. I am very easy to get along with. I love being able to meet new people. I've worked the with elderly for years and is really a blessing because a bond can be built. You can give companionship to them as well as you receive companionship from them. It's also a learning experience for me.

I've been in the medical field for over 30 yrs. I worked hospice, and through different agencies, until I was hired in dialysis at Fresenius Kidney Care. I also work full-time at alta point, and stay with them for 5 yrs. VOA for 1yr. My passion is taking care of others, and making a difference in there lives. Helping them to stay home and not have to change what they known. Some elderly people don't do well with change. I like to let them maintain there independence.

I'm a self motivated focused individual that has a huge heart. I am hyper aware of my surroundings at all times and the ability to recall even the smallest details in any situation. I'm a positive person and very kind hearted. I can take charge if warranted. I'm also ever empathetic and can adapt to any situation. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help those in need and seeing the stress be removed from the loved ones so that they can enjoy being with their loved one instead of having to worry about juggling everything. As well as providing a since of independence and and strength to the client. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is getting my mom to walk again after being bed ridden for 4 years due to neuropathy. I started by building her confidence and and replacing her negative mindset and fears with positivity and hope. She was so happy when she finally walked on her own again. Now she is up and moving like never before. And the happiest I've ever seen her.
