I've always wanted to take care of people . I've watched my blessed grandmother do it all her life. I'm the perfect caregiver for any family because of my patience and flexibility. I'm a great caregiver because empathize. I build a connection with my patient to create a sense of ease for their personal fears and discomforts. Personally I feel I do more than just look after and attend to my patients needs. I nurture, and foster a bond that makes them almost a part of my family and feel closer to their family. I am 22 years old. I found a passion for working with the elderly when I took on the role I have now with RSI. Not just caring for them, but I loved seeing me make an impact on their lives. I love that they wait for me at the door when I'm coming into work & how much they love to be around me. I am young and I love the fact that I can help the older generation with my bright personality and attitude. I am really proud of teaching one of my nonverbal residents sign language. He now can sign a couple phrases to communicate with me.

My name is Toni I will just dive right in I had a son who battled cancer from the age of 12-18 he unfortunately lost his battle I struggled a great deal and still do but he also made me realize that taking care of people is what I want to do so that's when I became a caregiver and when I lived in Indiana I became a CNA doing this is not just a job for me it's a passion for me doing what I do is what I'm most proud of and I feel my son would be proud also.
