What do I enjoy of most of being a caregiver ? Every time I am done taking care of my individuals. It's a fulfillment within my soul. That this individual was being taken care of to the best of my ability. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? To be my mother's caregiver working side-by-side with the doctors sorting her medication daily. To control her illnesses such as her A1c for diabetes, weight, mental illness, asthma, and COPD. My mother was able to have a longer and healthier life until her passing.

I am a great caregiver because I am passionate about helping others and interacting with all types of elderly people. I have been doing it for almost 10 years. I have the patience to work with all types of people including taking care of children because I've also been working for children for over 12 years.

I am a very great listener and I am also very aware of what's going on as well as my surroundings. I am a very caring and loving individual, I mostly go out of my way to help people anyone especially the elderly, when I can. My mother had early signs of dementia and I can't imagine her being all alone. When I'm off of work I stay with her have our specific shows that we watch and that to me is bliss. I'm genuinely there for whoever needs me I love to listen and give advice or just listen. All I can say is I try my best.

HI ! My name is Chelsea Baber. I was adopted by an elderly couple in there 60s when I was 9 years old. It gave me compassion and a desire to help people that needed the extra help. My mother always said she was thankful to adopt me at her age because I was a blessing to her with all my help around the house. I enjoy helping people out . I enjoy hearing and learning about how the world was different back before I was born. :)

I have been in the medical field for 12 years. I am empathetic and motivated when it comes to helping others. I have compassion for my patients as well as outside of my occupation. My experience as a caregiver began with a family member, who I assisted till their passing which was around my mid 20s.
