I have been a CNA for over 30+ years. I love working with the elderly. I love to hear their life stories and seeing them smile as they reminisce of the days of old. A personal achievement I am proud of , I'm a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 17.

What attracted me most about being a caregiver is helping the elderly. I love to help them achieve goals and it makes me happy seeing them happy.

I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

I absolutely love being a home health aide, I believe that everyone deserves the most courteous, professional and empathic care possible. I first wanted to become an aide when my grandmother got sick and I seen the amazing care she got and how that brought her happiness even during time of sickness and I wanted to give that to someone else. I love being able to make someone's day and make them feel good even if only for a little while and I also believe it's important that the clients family and friends have a sense of relief knowing their loved one is being well taken care of.

I became a caregiver to help others in their time of need and give the best care possible. I enjoy helping others and also being inspired to be my best in what I do in life and the career I chose. I have been chosen from numerous people to be the supervisor of the majority of my cases, which inspires me to give my all. I have been a caregiver for 28yrs plus, Making sure my clients are comfortable and happy with the care given. I am 52 reside in Canandaigua, children raised and grown, can be flexible with times needed, I have exper. in alzheimers, cancer, stroke, term. ill, etc.. also have exper. with catherdors, hoyers, j-tubes, wheel chairs, bed stricken, etc.., I can clean, cook, shop, take to appts., etc.. I enjoy what I do for others.

For the last 15 years, I have been in the human service field. Whether it be with troubled teens, tbi patients, dementia, mental disabilities and so on. My heart has always been pulled to help others in anyway I can. I believe in promoting independence as much as possible as I believe it gives people some self worth. I truly care for people and hope to make a difference even just for a little while

I am a patient and understanding person and love to help people sick or not I have been a cna for20years and before that took care of my father in law for 7 years he had throat cancer I love what I do iam an excellent caregiver because its in my heart. Hi, I am a LPN of 30 plus years of many different experiences. I love home care environment for working. I am a mom and very experienced in Special needs experience for my second child has CP and ADHD. He is a thriving young man and very productive young man in his community! Besides the last 5 years I have been working with individuals with special needs in their homes. I am current in my CPR training and am a nonsmoker and usually have no problem with pets currently. I would prefer to work the day or evening shift and am looking to work approximately 36 hours a week. I would right now not want to work weekends but can discuss further.
