What attracted me most about being a caregiver is helping the elderly. I love to help them achieve goals and it makes me happy seeing them happy.

I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. My goal is to achieve my nursing degree and move to help as much people as I can.

I have acquired a wealth of knowledge through my experiences, education and athletic endeavors. Throughout my life I have been gifted with the chance to accompany and help many people through critical points in their life. I am very resourceful, creative, patient, calm, quite and highly educated. I have been working with families and seniors in paid positions since I was in high school. I have been doing live-in care for over 15 years. My acquired Masters and PhD in Western Medical Sciences support the holistic care I share as a Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic Lifestyle consultant. Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. Our caregivers range from Companions to C.N.A's and I am looking into to hiring a nurse to join our team. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. I also carry liability insurance on myself as well as my fellow caregivers and they are my employees which means they are covered under my disability, unemployment, and workmans comp if anything should happen. For the last 15 years, I have been in the human service field. Whether it be with troubled teens, tbi patients, dementia, mental disabilities and so on. My heart has always been pulled to help others in anyway I can. I believe in promoting independence as much as possible as I believe it gives people some self worth.
