I'm a nurturing person by heart and truly love being a caregiver. What attracted me was the opportunity to help others in their daily lives, hoping to make them a little easier and better. I have been certified twice as a CNA and I'm currently certified as a PCA.

I've assisted with basic companionship to total care which includes activities of daily living "ADL's" bathing, dressing, shaving, feeding, errands, meal prep, medication management etc. I love and enjoy my profession working with my clients. Most of all I enjoy the history lessons, music and classic movies. By the end of my shift, I aim to ensure that my clients are happier, healthier, safe and comfortable.

I am a very caring, kind, intelligent, respectful, and responsible. As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is I went to a technical high school and got all of my certifications there and now am currently attending a university to further my education while working per diem. As well as currently looking for a full time job so I can continue helping people while also saving money for college.
