Hello, my name is Veronica Burke, and I am a mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a preschool teacher since 2002 till now and I love what I do. I love being a preschool teacher because, when my little people come to me begging of the school year with crying, faces, being scared, and nervures and curious at the same time, I couldn't help it but give them all the love, care, and attention that they need because I believe you can't learn in unwanted or unsafe environment. Throughout the months of school, I got to know their strength and weaknesses. By May, they are on their way to kindergarten. The question that I always ask myself is, did I give them the tools they need for this big moment of their lives. My answer is always yes. Before CORVID I was working weekends and some evening's hours taking care of elderlies by assisting them daily activities such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, bathing, assist in toileting and sometimes transportation to appointments or grocery. I do file a report of any accident or up normal event that happened while am on duty. Working with younger children and older adult has been very interesting moment of my life and I love it.

I'm a compassionate caring and empathetic caregiver, choosing a career as a caregiver was the obvious choice for me because of the love I have for people in general especially those who are undergoing stressful times because of physical or emotional problems, seeing my clients happy because of the exceptional care I provide for them makes me happy as well

I been working in home care field since I was 17 I'm 22 now I love what i do I clean cook every day living I work with all different people elderly , disable / mrrd/ special needs . You name it . I do transportation bathing groom .I am cpr certificated and medicine certification. I i been with people that are easy upset , behaviors , and beyond bad behaviors. I am a very caring and nurturing person. I really enjoy helping people. I also know when to promote independence for my client. I encourage my clients to do their best. I enjoy the experience of learning how to help an individual. By doing so, it allows a bond of trust and companionship to form between my client and myself. I give 100% of my time and attention to my clients. I became a Caregiver after I attended college as a Human Services student. I knew I always wanted to provide care to others and my time at college showed me I needed to pursue another direction other than college. I want to help others by providing one on one care and to enable them to be as independent as they possibly can at the same time. Hello my name is Paul Dupuis. I am 34 years old and have been a STNA since 2009 full time with the exception of also working as a Office Manager and Surgical Coordinator for and Endocrine surgeon for 5 years while in Colorado so that was a great opportunity to learn more about Post Op care. I believe I am a great STNA because I feel the need to take care of and nurture others in almost any kind of situation. I am very tidy and full of energy. My motto since a coworker said it to me 8 years ago is " If you don't use it you loose it!". It might become annoying to a Resident who doesn't want to hear it that day but I am great at helping get a Resident to that point and past it. Even if it's just to hold their own toothbrush, it might seem small to some but could be a huge stride in their life. I love my "job" and I live building relationships with my residents. I am very versatile as I've been a STNA since 2009 full time in Long term care, Physical Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation units, Behavioral Units ( my current position) and more on.

I became a caregiver because I like to help people out to stay independent as long as possible. Seeing my clients and there families happy with my services. I am proud that I have graduated from high school and that I can provide such a service with just that high school diploma and a diploma from a technical school for Health Careers. I am a single parent of wonderful twin daughters that that just recently graduated from High School and I consider myself very lucky.
