My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

I have been state tested since graduating high school. I am a mother of 4 and a wife of 13 yrs. I love working with patients and their family. I am very well at leaving my personal life at the door and being able to enjoy my day at work. Caring for people is all I know how to do. I just have to be able to be a parent as well with schools being done at home so can't do the long shifts of working in a nursing home. I take as many extra learning as can to help enhance my certification . I'm very easy to get along with and as flexible as needed. I have worked in home health, hospitals, as well as Nursing homes. My patients happiness means a lot to me or how the family thinks of me so always try to do my best. I have always liked helping people which is why I chose this field right out of high school. I have always kept my certification in good standing I've had my certification since 2001 and still on state registry with no complaints ever on my care. Hello, my name is Veronica Burke, and I am a mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a preschool teacher since 2002 till now and I love what I do. I love being a preschool teacher because, when my little people come to me begging of the school year with crying, faces, being scared, and nervures and curious at the same time, I couldn't help it but give them all the love, care, and attention that they need because I believe you can't learn in unwanted or unsafe environment. Throughout the months of school, I got to know their strength and weaknesses. By May, they are on their way to kindergarten. The question that I always ask myself is, did I give them the tools they need for this big moment of their lives. My answer is always yes. Before CORVID I was working weekends and some evening's hours taking care of elderlies by assisting them daily activities such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, bathing, assist in toileting and sometimes transportation to appointments or grocery. I do file a report of any accident or up normal event that happened while am on duty. Working with younger children and older adult has been very interesting moment of my life and I love it.
