My name is Yanjanani, in short Yanja. I have 14 years of experience as a CNA/caregiver. I am hardworking, reliable, cheerful, and very passionate about my job. In addition, i have First aid and CPR certifications. I love to assist older adults in their daily living activities because it is a wonderful thing to do. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is that i learn alot from the people i care for. Such as culture, language, food, and more. Everyone has a calling in life... Mine is the the compassionate care of others. I love to help others when they are having trouble helping themselves. I believe that people need to be treated with compassion and respect regardless of their condition. My experience has proven to me that I have patience and empathy to provide the care and love required to be a great care giver. I am punctual and dependable so there is never any worry if I am going to show up or not. I consider myself a good cook and maintain a clean home. I am capable of running most home health care equipment. I am also very capable of dealing with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and hospice. I manage a facility that is rated a 5 star home for 4 years in a row by the state. About me personally; I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have a 16 year old daughter. We have lived in the same house for 22 years so you might consider me a very stable person. I enjoy working outside in my flower beds, church activities, and my daughters sporting events.

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I like to take care of a Elderly people because I had patient and I'm a very good caregiver I've been doing this work for 15 years are used to live in Colorado and I've been doing days from Colorado to Ohio now so I can do anything patient, dementia patient , patientI'm good at it.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. I absolutely love being a home healthaid/caretaker. Its definitely a job made for people like me! Im a mother and im also the oldest of 4! I love helping others and allowing them to stay at home instead of having to move to a special home. People love to be independent and i try to help them do that as much as possible! I also do things like workout with patients and read to them. Im very caring and loving.
