Hi! My name is Christian and I was a music major for 5 years and I planned on going into music therapy but I have recently switched over to nursing! I have worked in mental health for 3 years and I am glad to say I enjoy helping people and being there for them in times of need.

I been a CNA for 5 years I have worked in a bunch skilled and none skilled nursing homes. Well I love to help people and my grandma was in and out of nursing homes. So I got to go and I wanted to make a difference in there life's. I enjoy putting a smile on there face just because they in a nursing home don't mean they can't live a little and have fun . Personal achievement well got my CNA license did a whole year of it and I past with straight A's and been a CNA for 5 years . I became interested in healthcare in Junior high. At 16 I obtained my CNA license and started taking college level nursing classes in highschool while maintaining a full time job as a CNA. I have 10 plus years experience in in home health, rehab facilities and hospitals. I have a true passion for my work and like to think that the work I do can help someone elses life become just a little bit easier.

I have been into clients homes that it is literally broke me into seeing how they have been treated or how they are living and that they have nobody that seems to care. When I was 16 years old, my grandfather who was bedridden after many strokes, and also diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia moved into our home, and me and my mother took care of him until his last days. When he passed I realized I wanted to go into healthcare to make a difference in other people's lives the way he did for me.
