PLEASE READ MY PROFILE FIRST!!! I have been a private in home caregiver for over 20 years. I became a caregiver because I love to help people. I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I care about everybody, and try too help out as many people as possible. It brings a smile too my face when I see others smile, and i know I'm doing everything I can too make that person comfortable and happy. What I really love about being a caregiver is the conversations I have with the elderly. Hearing about their life, and diffrent expirences they went through sometimes are life changing. Just getting too know them and knowing I'm helping someone makes me happy. One of the achievements I'm proud of is passing my TNA classes & getting a certificate. That made my day.

One of my personality traits is when someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Some other personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are Trustworthiness, patience, and dependability. I love helping people. I've always had a soft spot for seniors and wanted to make a difference in their lives. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in my attention to detail. One of my greatest achievements is doing a 15 week nursing contract away from my family a lot.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I am the bubbly personality that loves to interact with whoever I provide services for. I do not play in my cell phone. I have been a CNA for almost 16 years and I am slowly on my way to achieving my associates for RN. I have two adorable dogs and I am fostering another puppy at the moment. I love animals and gardening. I do not have children. My transportation is reliable. I love to care for people, as the reward is in itself. The feeling you get knowing you made a difference in someone's life is priceless. I wear my heart on my sleeve! Most experience is with Autism, Cerebral Palsey, Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as Multiple Sclerosis. I have ventilation experience and GI feedings. Experienced with medication administration. CPR certification is up to date, as well as my certification.

A little about is I am a 21 year old male, the second youngest of 9 siblings, and a newly father to a beautiful 4 month old daughter. I played soccer all my life and led my team to state championship the first one since 1958 my senior year. I am a super hard worker but I want a rewarding job not to be in some factory some where. I want to help people, I want to do something for the greater good and this job I would be doing that directly. I am an energetic person so I wouldn't mind doing fun things with my senior that they enjoy. I'm pretty handy so I can help around the house and as a marine we would get inspected almost everyday so I can keep the place tidy. I am willing to assist in anyway needed.

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I am most proud of having every person ive ever cared for like the person i am and be leased with the care i have given them. I have gone through knowing hard journeys in life because my own child was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 10 yrs. Old..i became a caregiver to her and learned so much about how precious every life is..

I love taking care of people. I love when I can put a smile on an individual's face and that I can make them happy. I work with adults with disabilities and when I come into work, their smiles have made my day. I'm a single mother of three wonderful kids, and my passion is taking care of people and making them smile.

After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I enjoy getting to know the person I am taking care of; their background and life experiences. Learning from them is always fun. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.

Hello I'm Samantha a 26 year old female I started in this industry out of high school after losing my great grandmother to cancer I wanted to be able to make a difference in peoples lives, to provide a better quality of life for those who need it, from being a companion, to cooking meals, tidying the house, or running errands and doctors appointments, it's just as important for those who can't do everything on their own to be able to have access and assistance to complete daily living and activities.
