Working as a Dental Assistant for 15 years and becoming a Volunteer Fire woman.I had the privilege of taking care of my late Uncle and my late Mother-in-law. My uncle had no mobility and depended on round the clock care.But I was always able to make him belly laugh everyday. My mother-in-law, had three open heart surgeries and additional medical needs. I always made the time to care for her throughout the entire day. I enjoy being a companion and support system. My grandmother always told me that taking care of someone is a privilege not a job. I enjoy getting to know people of all walks through life and I have taken many courses to keep my self educated in patient care.I look forward to getting the opportunity to know you.

I have worked in the Direct Care field for approximately 3 years now. I was a Direct Support Professional for 2 years and a Program Supervisor for a year. I enjoy this field because I have the opportunity to assist others in there day to day activities so I can see there smile on there face. Once that happens I know I've done my job and I've done it correctly.

Communication plays a huge part in being a great caregiver. My father was once in a nursing home and ever since then I wanted to make people who can't really do for themselves happy and to see a smile on their face knowing someone in the world cars for them.
