Good Listener Have been in healthcare all my life (now 73).As an LPN, (Licensed Practical Nurse) I was a hospital discharge planner, a nurse liaison for a nursing home, a private duty nurse, a hospice intake coordinator, among other jobs. I no longer hold a nursing license. I do hold a CPR card that is current. Understand the need for following instructions. Enjoy working with people in homecare taking care whatever is needed. I have seen people who are untrained and without common sense and this is a waste of everyone's time. I like the idea of taking care of things the resident doesn't have to try to do, so he or she can spend their energies doing things they enjoy. That is what I am proud of.

I am 59 years old. Iv been caregiving since 2019. I am fully convid vaccinated. Before this I did residential cleaning . As I began to get older I decided to try something different and more rewarding. My niece talked me into trying caregiving. Since I have started this career. Iv enjoyed it. I love taking care of people . It's not only a job it becomes personal. You get attached and become friends with the patient and their families. I am filling trained in many areas. Your basic bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning,. Hi I have been a caregiver for about 4+ years. Its such a Rewarding job. I took a small break from it. But I'm so excited and ready to get back into the swing of things. I love knowing I can make a difference in someone's everyday life.

Hi! My name is Ashley. I am 32 years old, I have 4 kids and a disabled husband. My two oldest children are technically my nieces, I adopted them as babies when their parents died. It was an easy decision as I loved them as my own and I love taking care of people, I've always been the mama bear sort towards even strangers. I also have multiple sclerosis but thus far it does not effect me in a serious manner *knocks on wood* so I know some what the effects of a serious illness and having to occasionally depend on others. I love jobs like this because I like knowing that I can treat someone how I would want to be treated when my illness does become more serious and I take pride in it. I just genuinely care about people and it makes me happy to help others.
