When something needs to be done, I'll be the first on the job. I started out taking care of my grandmother at a young age. After she passed, I moved to where I now currently have a veteran neighbor whom I help when needed. I was employed by a family on weekends for a gentleman with dementia for almost a year up until his passing. I have many years of experience with Caregiving , elderly and youth. Also, I like to keep things clean and neat when at someone's home. Labor work doesn't bother me at all. If it needs to be done, I can do it. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, and errands are expected and easily done.

I became a certified home health aide to get a good job back in 1992. But, I found a true calling. I love working with the clients of all ages. I've even worked with Hospice. I have held hands while the elderly passed. Some times the families just can't deal with their loved ones passing, and that's where I need to be strong and my most understanding. I like making a difference in the lives of people. Seeing the smile's, hearing a laugh. It's amazing how much it really means a lot of the people. Maybe to just sit with someone and just hold their hand, or to give a welcomeing hug and kiss on the cheek. I love it all. I'm greatfull to God that he puts me in contact with these people. It reminds me of what we are here for.

i have took care of disabled kids in my home for 8 years then i went to there homes witch is called group homes for two years i cooked for them i cleaned for them i gave them meds and gave them baths and also took them to doctor appointments and took them out to get to know people in public.. what i like about being a caregiver is that you get to help them build up there self asteam and also help them be very indapendent with themselves. my personal achievement is doing my job to help the ones that need help.. about my self i have two wonderful kids and a husband that i take care of i lived in missouri all my life moved to tn to be with my husband after mine and my kids house burnt in oct 2014. i am a hard worker and love working with others.
