it is my preference to take care of someone else and I put their needs first, I am a good listener, establish a routine and schedule in order to make the person in my care more secure and encourage my client to do as much as he or she can ask what their needs are rather than simple taking charge.

My passion began as a teenager, watching my mother operate a day program for mentally and physically challenged adults. I would spend early dismissal days at the program learning how to care and support adults who needed an extra hand. As I matured and ventured out into different career areas, I always seemed to end up back where I was most fulfilled and happy, which is caregiving. The rewards are in the smiles, milestones reached and surpassed and the trust that I build with the individuals and their families. Gaining knowledge from medical professionals of all walks and being able to utilize everything I have learned have all benefited those I care for and allowed me to excel at what I love.
