Hey my name is Jatisha Odom ! I'm located in the murfreesboro area and willing to travel to smyrna, I've been in the caregiving field since i graduated in 2012 I've always had a passion in helping others , i helped out a lot with kids with disabilities while i was attending high school and it just grew on me . I know this job requires a lot of patiences and tolerance for challenging situations and i just love this type of work i took a four year break because i got pregnant and become a stay at home mom to my beautiful daughter but i was off work for awhile all my certificates expired but i plan to get my first aid and cpr certification back active and at the first of the year i plan to take my CNA classes to get my licenses here soon and add that to my profile I'm just looking for a great placement to pick back up on all of this but I'm very familiar with a lot of stuff as far as taking my clients to there appointments, doing the house needs, bathing, feeding , hospice, Hoyer lift etc. Whatever you name I've pretty much done it all and has dealt with a lot of clients with different disabilities and health problems . I consider myself a great caregiver, because I love what I do as a caregiver. I love making sure that the individuals feel loved and make sure all their needs are obtained. I started out very young as a caregiver, taking care of my father and aunts when they could not do things for themselves. Throughout the years those skills stayed with me. The one thing that I like most about being a caregiver is being the best that I can be. The two most valuable achievment that made me proud was becoming a mother and grandmother.

What attracted me to becoming a caregiver? I have always liked being around the elderly. I volunteered for meals on wheels for four years. And in those four years. I got a one on one experience of the needs of the elderly. I get to help the elderly keep their dignity and there Independence . And stay in their own home where they feel safe.
