Let me start by stating, entrusting a stranger with the life of a loved one or yourself can be quite daunting. Being a caregiver is much more than technical qualifications; it requires heart, soul, laughter, patience, compassion, and human nature at its most vulnerable state. This is why I am passionate about what I do. I have a very colloquial personality which keeps me fluid with other personalities. I have cared for elders in my community and I enjoy helping them preserve their independence as long as possible and becoming enriched with their history. I am proud of achieving the knowledge of my self worth and the worth of others, along with growth through writing and photography. I have experience with Parkinson's patients as well, and that has been a crowning honor for myself. I am also well versed in Alzheimer's, Dementia and MS. I am a very seasoned caregiver (14 years experience) with an aptitude beyond standardized care. More so, I find myself living through the wisdom and history of each person's story and take that knowledge through my own journey. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse who's passion is to love and care for the elderly and make them feel comfortable as well as safe. I try to give the patients the same respect that I would want. I just sit and listen to their stories and let them vent or express how they feel or what they want.

I was a teacher for 27 years and retired and really miss being out in the community and helping others and getting to meet new people. One of my biggest qualities is caring for others and I have missed this. I took care of my grandparents and great aunt when they were having dementia and physical restrictions. I really miss them and want to help others who went through the same things they did and plus I love the communication! I'm here to help in anyway I can, I'm there for you!

I fell in love with providing care services because of my mother and grandmother. The thing I enjoy most is giving someone a sense of security knowing that I'll be there to help them, my own personal achievement of mines that I am proud of is being a 2 time cancer survivor.

I love what I do its my gift that God gave me I've worked in caring for the sick and Ill for many yrs I enjoy the look on there face when they see me and I see them just because there sick dont mean they can't enjoy life so that's where I come in to uplift them I do this because it's my calling not just a job
