I have been a caregiver for over 10 years and what attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandfather was sick and I took care of him until he passed away and every since then I've been a caregiver and what I enjoy about it the most is caring for people that care for them selfs

I am a certified occupational therapist assistant and have worked in a nursing home or a hospital for 7 years. Recently went to one on one cargiving for a disabled non communicive teenager that required detailed ADL services and light housekeeping and appointment rides and prevention of self harm. I have worked with many diagnosis and have some experience with useing sign language. I try to match personal needs and activities for each client and work with them on succeeding in thier personal goals with home and personal experiences.

I am a very funny, fun, and caring person. I love what I do with a passion! What attracted me to being a caregiver is the need to help others. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is taking care of my patient. Making sure that they are happy and satisfied and have the best care possible that I can provide. A personal achievement that I am proud of is me going to school for my medical assistant and continuing on with my allied health program.

Seventeen of those in clinical research as a coordinator. For 12 years I have worked part time as a caregiver, evenings and weekends , providing companionship, an awareness of medical needs, spiritual inspiration, planned activities and hospice care. Let me start by stating, entrusting a stranger with the life of a loved one or yourself can be quite daunting.
