Hello, I'm a thoughtful, calm caregiver. I have 40 years experience taking care of elderly people. My hobbies are reading and swimming. I have one grandson and one daughter who both keep me thinking and feeling young.

I became a caregiver to help an elder parent, when she would need more help. It is a good feeling knowing what to do when she needs help. I do like helping people and I have a sunny positive outlook on life.

Empathy and compassion. ... By showing both empathy and compassion as a caregiver will let the person I'm caring for allow trust also shows I care about the person and will do what I can to help them. Attracting me to being a caregiver was know the help I could bring. Also knowing one day I will need the same help. I enjoying almost every aspect of a caregiver. More so putting smiles on those faces who feel they have been forgotten. That's my achievement in this field making those happy, and feeling valued.

I am geat person, with a amazing personality I have golden heart love hard, I can get along with almost anyone. I'm very outgoing hard working. Most people tell me no matter what may be going on I'm always wearing a smiling that is true. Life is to short to wear your heart on your sleeve. It's good to encourage uplift others. In 2004 my father n law call asked me would like to care and watch for his brother n law he wasn't doing to good in health wise, his wife was a school teacher, couldn't do it alone, they had a nurse also who would come and do there duties to. I'd watch as she did her job to get a few pointers and learn different skills. As I went to work every day I started to love my job more the bonding and listening to the clients you learn so much seeing the glow on there faces and smile gives you reassure that everything is good ok..when he passed I continue on making caregiving my career it's my passion I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world..

I enjoy what I do love helping others. Im a caring person. I've done other jobs but they just didn't seen meaningful. Guess with me I get to attached with my patients.
