Caregiving has been my calling and career for the past thirly years. I have worked in a variety of health care settings. However, homecare has been mostly my focus. I enjoy assisting clients to remain in the comfort of their homes. I am a self starter, diligent, attentive and compassionate caregivers. Greetings! I fell in love with caregiving while attending travel school, and working for an elderly man in his home. My passion for caregiving comes from growing up in a large family and always having people around me of all ages. I adored my grandparents, and had the pleasure of caring for all of my older siblings children before having 2 of my own. When I lost my grandparents, I decided that I wanted to spend my time around seniors, helping them to remain in their homes as long as possible. It has been a 35 year career for me, and I enjoy it more every day! I have about 32 years of experience being a caregiver. I use to own my own Caregiver agency but, it took me away from providing personal care to my clients, I decided to give that up so I could work closer with the client. I've provided care for individuals with MS. I currently work part time for the State of Washington as a certified Care Giver & I have a couple of part time clients . I feel & have been told I'm a great caregiver because I think of others first, filling the needs of others before myself. I think the best way to be a affective caregiver is to really have consideration for the fact that, it could sometimes be Very humiliating having someone to provide care for you & to treat others as you want to be treated. I always talk to my clients and helping them to see that I do understand how it feels to be able to once have done things for yourself and now to have to rely on someone else. I also forgot to mention that I have a daughter who lives with me, she's now 30 and she's been on dialysis for about 10 years and so I have quite a bit of experience in the medical field. I was also certified as a CNA for about 20 years I am not currently certified but, have loads of experience working with the elderly, I've worked on my own, in nursing homes & hospitals. I've worked for the State of California in a Veterans home for about 10 years just prior to me coming to Seattle. I've been in Seattle for 14 years.

I am naturally a compassionate and cheerful person. I cared for my late mother when she was ailing and this gave such fulfillment and the drive to help people that are unable with activities of daily living. I enjoy bringing a smile on my clients face when they feel safe, heard and cared for. In my role as a caregiver to an elderly lady with dementia, I always showed her kindness, patience and compassion and as a result the family entrusted me to care for her while even while she was in hospice until she passed on and later requested me to care for another family member who had Alzheimer's.

Hi, my name is Lucky, I am 25 years old. I am an outgoing person who loves the outdoors, going out to eat with friends and reading. I am very companionate with anyone especially children and the elderly. I love taking care of the elderly because I have family members of the same age. Also I believe one day I will also be that age and would need help therefore I treat everyone with respect. I graduated in May 2020 with my bachelors in Social Work and Communication.
