I been doing home health care for some time now.My mother and three sisters also in field. This is not a money making field you have to love what you do and caring for others.

I have been a caregiver for the last 18 years. I received my CNA Licence in 2007. I also have a degree in criminal justice. I enjoy being a caregiver it brings joy to me knowing I am caring for a person who truly needs me. I am able to do my CNA duties along with providing companionship.

Do I know everything no do I know a lot yes is I'm still learning yes nice loving caring and tell the truth that's my model.

I have over five years of experience working in this field. Before that I always had a passion to assist ones who couldn't do for their self so I volunteer at group homes for three years. I went and got my CBRF certificate later and I'm going continue farther my education in this profession.

I became an Cargiever in 2017 I started at 18 I really enjoy working with different types of disability's I find it fun & interesting the residents are very cool and friendly . Iam currently working on trying to get my CNA license and then my LPN license . I enjoy being a Cargiever helping people out.

Every since I was young, my goal has always been to become a nurse. The older I got the more the passion grew on me. Now I am a Certified Nurse Aide, I love the one-on-one companionship. The joy I bring back in love ones eyes. The relationship me and the patient establish is beautiful. Being an extra hand, voice, and friend without enabling them, but bring life back into them. I am also taking online class to further my education in healthcare. I love what I do.

Hello, I am a nursing student at Cardinal Stritch University. As a caregiver I make great effort to provide each individual with the personal care they need in a physical and emotional supportive way. As your caregiver I will help with your daily activities, such as assisting with bathing and bathroom functions, meal preparations, feeding assistance, grooming, medication reminders, and house chores. I will help make and keep appointments with doctors, provide or arrange transportation and serve as a companion to you. I chose caregiving because I am patient and responsible and understand how important my role to help is. What I like mostly about my role as a caregiver is the impact I have on each individual in giving of myself and my time. My most personal achievement is raising my own children and pursuing my goal of becoming a nurse.

Patience and flexibility are qualities that every person in the caregiving industry must possess. There'll be many hurdles along the way-the patient is being stubborn and uncooperative, the schedule doesn't go as planned, or difficult situations arise. A caregiver who is very rigid will find it challenging to deal with these circumstances in a positive way.

When my mother was ill, I was the one she would call to make her scrambled eggs. I took her to the swimming pool and hot tub to get exercise and relaxation. I cut her hair, took her to doctor's appointments and then lunch, and generally gave her some companionship. As I dusted her knickknacks, she told me where each was from. Mom died in 2002. When dad was ailing, some of my family tried to move him into assisted living, but he wanted to stay in his own home. I gave up my apartment and moved in with him, while working in publishing during the day. We had a great time together for a year and a half. Just after he died, I lost my job because I had spent too much time with dad. That evening, the daughter of a neighbor I'd assisted over the years called me, asking if I could help her mother. That began years of caregiving in which I have helped people stay in their homes, and enjoy life. I've brought my keyboard and played hymns and popular songs, singing with them and laughing. As a caregiver, I am simply happy to help my people stay in their own familiar setting. I believe the way I interact with them makes them happy. And my cooking makes them extremely happy! I built my cooking experience on my mom's, then learned to cook for fewer than 8 people! I edited three "Taste of the Country" cookbooks, working with a professional dietician who taught me many ways to fit dietary needs while providing tasty food.

Hello my name is Jasmine but you can call me Jazz I am from Miami Florida. My parents were in the Coast Guard. I am the only child that graduated from Radford high school in 1999 . I was going to school for nursing but then I change my mind and went into dental. In 2003 I was working for my family dentist until 2008 I left the dental office to take care of my family and 2017 I went back into the dental field and now I'm a travel dental assistant oh my days that I am not doing dental. I am a caregiver. I love both jobs cause I am helping people and giving them a beautiful smile. I have three handsome. I like to travel, camping, horseback, riding quality time with my family and friends I also like to do word search puzzles, board, games, and puzzles, and I like to bake and do arts and crafts.
