I retired as a property manager as of 2016 but have been taking care of my mother since 2013. In the last several years, her care has become more demanding for me. I do just about everything for her including meals, doctor appts, laundry, dressing assistance, Since November 2023, she has to be assisted in portable potty care because she cannot walk to bathroom for now. I'm grateful that I am able to help my 94 year old mother in her day to day living. Also before my retirement, I assisted my boss in his caretaking needs including scheduling and taking him to doctor appts, light cleaning, shopping, bill pay among many other things.
