I am a very compassionate and energetic caregiver. I seek and strive to improve the quality of life of those that I am caring for by listening to them and following their directions. One must allow for the individual to maintain dignity and control over their own life. By doing so, this allows for the individual to open up to the caregiver and truly express their concerns and needs. In addition, this builds a strong relationship between the two individuals, which is one thing I love most about being a caregiver. As for myself, I am a recent college graduate. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from UNC Charlotte. My overall plan is to one day attend medical school--until then, I am seeking to better the lives of those that need assistance.
