I am a student at Old Dominion University. I will be a junior this coming fall semester. I originally started school at Longwood University but I decided to transfer to ODU. I am a Therapeutic Recreation Major student. Therapeutic Recreation is a form of adaptive therapy to bring individuals with disabilities a higher quality of life the recreation and leisure. I would love to become a personal care provider in order to expand my knowledge of working with clients as well as help others that need it most. I am incredibly social and would be great company for an individual with any type of disability or individual with need for extra care. I have a history of internships with geriatric patients, individuals with dementia, mental impairments, and developmental delays. I enjoy helping patients and clients every day and would love for my services to be spread. I am happy interacting with patients or doing normal daily chores that can improve a clients life.
