About Lateshia

I became a caregiver so that I may be in a position to give loved ones great and quality care while keeping their pride, dignity, and self respect in order. I love being a caregiver because I have the pleasure of making all individuals happy and comfortable rather it being the end of their days (elderly or geriatric) or rather it being the beginning of their days (infant or pediatric) I just love doing what I do and not just loving to help people though that plays a big part of it. Aside of being in the healthcare industry, one of my other biggest achievement is continuing my education in the social field so that I may become a voice for all ages whom can't, won't, or not strong enough to speak on their behalf. I am a very sensitive and compassionate person. Always willing to help even if that means putting myself last. I love a challenge and look forward to learning all that I can to contribute to my success in the healthcare and social field.

I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and also have CPR and First Aid Card. I am very skilled in the following: • Range of Motion (ROMs) • Cancer Care • Hospice Care • Diabetes Care • Normal Activities for daily living better known as (ADLs) • Stroke Care • ODD • Respite Care • Respiratory Care • Spinal Injury Care • Long Term Care • ADHD • Down Syndrome Care • Assisted Living Care • Infant Care • Babysitting Services • Tube Feeding Care • Overnight Care • Spinal Injury Care • Tube Feeding Care • Nanny Services • Pain Management • Medication Aide • Mobility Care • Dementia (AKA Alzheimer's) • Cerebral Palsy • Autism • Any Many More I also can assist with errands, laundry, doctors’ Appointments, dishes, meal preparation, paper work, very skilled with computers and many more. My first priority is being the best at helping and providing the best care possible. I am very dependable and reliable. You can trust that I will always have your best interest at heart. I became a caregiver growing up with my young aunt who is of special needs. The feeling of helping or taking care of a person is more than I can explain. While working as a caregiver my clients always told me that I'm very good at what I do and that they really appreciate me, which gives me great pride and motivation in doing my job. That is one of my personal achievements to date. I am a hard working individual who tries to the best of my ability to serve my clients with respect and dignity.
