What makes me a good caregiver is me being able to treat others the way i would want to be treated if i was elderly or in any form of disability. What attracted me to being a caregiver was takin care of my gpop up til he was 95 and i saw all the families who wouldn't help and it kept him lonely and angry ,i knew that if i made him comfortable and happy i can do for others, it gave me a golden heart cause they go back to a infant form and u have to treat them with warmth and care. I also been around siblings and other family members with disabilities and it's always been my passion to go forth to work with people in the outside field to learn and to give them ability to feel normal and be them selves. What i enjoy most is that i get to take them out and let them be who they want to be ,i like to give them life ,my job is to care for them but i like to give them alil more ,some give up and think since the doctor says u can't no more it's over, i say let's try and see how far u can get ,cause there isn't no i can't ,until god says so . My personal achievement was when i had one client who was determined to walk and doctors said she couldn't , in a matter of three months i had her standing and doin so much on her own. I love my job i love my clients , i pray this wasn't to much to read but i wanted to introduce who i am. Thank you in advance
