What attracted you to being a caregiver? I've always been drawn to helping others, and caregiving felt like a natural fit. I enjoy being someone others can count on, especially during difficult or vulnerable times. What really attracted me was the chance to make a real, direct impact in someone's life--offering both practical support and emotional reassurance. 3. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? What I enjoy most is building trust and meaningful connections with the people I care for. It's incredibly rewarding to know that my presence can bring comfort, stability, and a sense of safety to someone. Even small moments--like a smile, a shared laugh, or helping someone regain a bit of independence--are what make the job truly special to me. 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? One achievement I'm proud of was working with a non-verbal client who had dementia. Through patience and consistency, I developed a routine that helped her feel more comfortable and secure. Over time, she started to show signs of recognition and even small gestures of connection, like a smile or hand squeeze. It reminded me that progress doesn't always have to be big to be meaningful.
