I also work at a nursing home, which I am trying to replace that job, I have worked there since 8/2017. At the nursing home, I assist with adequate nutrition and fluid intake according to each individuals prescribed diet. Maintain a safe and practical living space for all residents, by providing behavioral/emotional support and supervision for those with dementia and Alzheimer's. Provide medications, first aid care, personal care, and wound care ordered by facility MD. Minimize pain, discomfort, infections and complications; and optimize patient outcomes. Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms and vital signs, as well as educate family members and responsible parties on residents care and any medication changes. At the pediatric office, I work directly under an NP to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatments and maintain patient flow. Implement age appropriate screenings, navigate EMRs and schedule appointments. Monitor and log vaccines into NCIR. Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, heights and weights. Deliver high-quality and compassionate treatment to all patients as a team.
