1) Why did you decide to become a CNA? •I decided to become a CNA because I have compassion for people who are sick or can't help themselves. I know how it feels to need someone so I feel like it's my job to help people and be there for them. 2) Who is your biggest hero? • God is my biggest hero. Without him I wouldn't have the strength to help anyone! Without him I wouldn't be who I am today. My mom is also my hero as well but nobody is greater than God. 3) What is your favorite food and what do you like to cook. • I don't have a favorite food because I LOVE all foods! I'm from St. Helena Island (Gullah Geechie) so cooking and eating is embedded in my DNA! I love to cook! It's my passion besides nursing and becoming a wife and mother one day. 4) What are your hobbies/activities? • I love to make my own button earrings with different kinds of fabric! I also make body butters and body oils and body scrubs! I love to do DIY crafts! Love to paint and draw! 5) What is the best advise you have ever received and from whom? • The best advise was ," Baby, live life like there is no tomorrow, because tomorrow is never promised!". That came from (at that time ) 97 year old patient! - I also held my license for about five years now! I got it when I was still in high school in the 11th grade, so my heart is into my work !
