Blessed with natural nurturing nature, I instinctively love people. I'm driven to love and care for those unable, for whatever reason, to care for themselves. As the only child and oldest granddaughter of a meducal professionals, it's in my blood! It's always been my goal to leave a positive mark on every life whose path I cross and as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I'm able to touch the lives of others. The client and their family are usually in a vulnerable place. It gives me an awesome sense of pride to provide quality care to both the client and their family. Caregivers are usually tired, skeptical and afraid of bringing the wrong person into the life of their loved one. Building a relationship of trust and mutual respect is the basis for dispelling those concerns. The achievement I'm most proud of is raising my grandson. He's 14 now, but I've had him all his life. He's a pretty neat kid. Of course he does what children do...but he's loving, smart, compassionate, driven...well, you get the picture. He's my greatest achievement. My greatest joy! I love to spend quality time with my family. This can sometimes be challenging since I work a lot. That makes the time we spend together that much more precious!
