About Corresha

I started as a Caregiver when i was teenager, Caring for my Grandparents and Great Grandparents. I have a n enormously Love for people; helping and understanding people and their behaviors. I am a Mom of 2 , handsome 13 year old and a beautiful month old Babygirl. I'm Extremely patient and understanding. I'm a great Communicator, and I believe in making those that i care for, feel safe and comfortable. Also, I assist with Caring for my Mother, whom is currently on Dialysis. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Colorectal Cancer in 2010, at the age of 27, which i took Chemotherapy. During Chemo, i required care in many areas of my life. So i have experienced both ens; providing care, and receiving it. I have been healthy and strong for many years now, and I love working with people, helping individuals and their families. I have my Degree in Psychology and i love it. I am currently working for a Home Care Agengy in Burlington, which I've been working for nearly 11 years. I am just looking for part time work doing something that i love doing.

I have done fill in work for my aunt who use to work as an in home aid caregiver. I have worked for two years in a chiropractic office working with older people. I enjoy being with people and learning from them and being able to help them to live their lives to the best of their abilities. That is what I love about care giving. It is not just a job but a way of connecting to other people and being able to help them and do it for a living. I obtained my Associates degree while raising them and I am twenty four hours away from receiving my Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling and Caregiving and my daughters are my reason for continuing to get better as a person.
