I started out in a privately owned Assisted Living in 2003, not needing my LNA. During my first year there, I fell in love with taking care of others. I went back to school and got my LNA license in 2004 (NH requires you to be licensed). I enjoy serving our seniors by helping them lead full and productive lives each day. Their needs are always put before mine, I like to focus on quality of life. My personal achievement would have to be moving to another state and challenging my skills to take the test and get my CNA here in NC in 2010. I also took the state test to become a medication tech in 2016. I feel that I can adapt easily to any environment and can work very well with others. It is said, that I have an out going personality and am courteous to everyone. I am 41 yrs old, met my husband when I was 19. We had a son, who is now 21, got married in 1999 and had our daughter, who is now 18. We are from NH. Moved to NC a little over 8 yrs ago and love it here. The activities of daily living I can perform includes.. Hygiene/bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting assistance/incontinence, mobility assistance, transfer assistance, feeding assistance, transportation, managing medication, light housekeeping/laundry, exercises, groceries/shopping, companionship and more!

Because i love people and im always going out my way to help others out as much as i can it brings so much joy to my life to be able to help another person in there life,cause i know that sometimes in life things happen thats out of our control such things as age,sickness or whatever life throws at us and it can be hard just to do the little things in life that we take for granted i wanna be there to help out with all those things in life to make someone elses life that much easier.. I have a nouraching soul and ever since i was a child i always loved to help out around the house doing as much as i can to help my mom and my grandmother out.
