I'm a loving and very caring person just like my grandma was. She raised me, she was a cna 2. She got me my first job at a nursing home working together. I watched her treat these elderly people with respect and dignity, she was so attentive and caring. I knew then, that's what I wanted to do. My Nana always said, you can't change how the other cna's treated the patients but that she always said she could at least make a difference while she was there. When my Nana was diagnosed with kidney failure, I was her live in caretaker for 11 years until she passed in 2021. So, I followed in her footsteps and I love my job, I can make a difference in someone's life.
