Hi my name is Tracy, I'm a Mama of 2 and Nana of four. I became a caregiver many years ago and actually found out that this type of work was perfect for me and since then I have worked in nursing home, retirement home and took care of many, many clients in their homes. I am suitable for this type of work because I am a people person, especially the elderly, It makes my day to go in a home and at least get one smile out of a client but thru e to get laughs and many smile out of them. I go into a home and that is my number one priority is to make an everlasting impression by showing care and love from the bottom of my heart. I just recently spent a few years taking care of my father in law until he sadly passed away in November, And I'm not going to fib that was a challenge because eventually he had to have 24)7 care and we gave out home up and moved in with him, not to mention at the time was raising 3 small grandkids full time. But I would do it all over again without any hesitation. We had many wonderful memories with him that will last a lifetime.... And now being that I love to talk and do not like staying at home all day by myself I'm ready to help care for your lioved one. And now that I personally had to care for a family member I know first hand you need a break so let me help you with that.

I am a genuinely sincere person who enjoys helping others. I work hard and listen carefully. I am reliable and have a firm understanding of how important reliability is to those expecting you to be there when you say and do what you say. I have worked as a Social Worker in health care for many years and have the ability to assess a home environment and see where the needs are to assist adequately and make helpful recommendations to promote independence. My husband has his own business and I help to manage that business but miss being able to work with others. I think it is fulfilling when you have the ability to assist someone and make their day just a little easier. I enjoy seeing the transformation on an individuals face when you arrive to help with their needs and they seem worn out and discouraged but after you have helped them, listened to what they had to say, and validated them by doing things their way then you see them energized and smiling. That is the most rewarding feeling. I have several personal achievements that I am proud of I went to college and have a Bachelor's degree and did that while raising children, I have helped my granddaughter achieve her goals to go to college and become a nurse, and I have had a successful happy marriage for 31 years now.

I am a breast cancer survivor. Going through that experience (chemo, surgery, radiation) gave me a perspective I had not previously experienced. I understand what it is to be sick, scared and helpless. I now have a passion to help others in similar situations.

Hey! My name is Kimberly. I'm 32 years old. I served 8 years in the Army. A year after getting out I started working at a state hospital (mental hospital) in Kansas. This was something I had never done before. I was placed on the geriatric unit. I LOVED working on this unit! I loved getting to know each patient and building a rapport with them. I truly enjoy caring for people. I enjoy sitting and talking / listening and getting to know them. I believe as a caregiver the patient should be treated as you would want your own family to be treated. I am proud of what I have done in my life this far. I've always wanted to be a nurse/caregiver

The reason i love being a caregiver ia because i love to hear from my clients thank you and what will i do without you. I love putting a smile on their face and as well. I treat my clients just as I wanted to be treated .

I would be a good caregiver because I have helped my mom recover from different types of surgeries and know what to look for and how to help appropriately. I've also helped my father through various stages of cancer. Sometimes helping means just being there to help or smile
