I use to be a music teacher and my love for kids has always been there. I love to help others. While I was caring for my great uncle, he spend time in a nursing home with a broken leg, then a hip. I would go everyday to help feed him and I would also visit with other residents by talking with them or wheeling them back to their rooms after meals. I would also take time to go see the whenever I had a chance when my uncle was home. I assisted with activities in the nursing home. I love to care and help others. Upon returning from caring from my uncle, I went back to work for a company I spent a couple months with in caregiving in youth group homes. Since I love kids, it was a no brainer. These kids have suffered greatly in their short lives and if I could provide a service to them, then I am content. I would play cards and board games with these kids as well as do crafts. I love the welcome when the kids see me so I know they like me no matter what issues they have with behaviors.
