I am an army veteran with over 30 years in healthcare. I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare and pursued a career in surgical technology upon entering the military. My God given gift is helping others and it brings me joy to make someone else's day better. I've worked in almost every area of healthcare from the ER to psych. One of my favorite areas is geriatrics. I believe that elderly patients should be treated with dignity and respect. It's important for them to be surrounded by people who truly care and want to take care of them. I am punctual and reliable and have an upbeat personality. I smile a lot, and love to laugh and make others laugh. After all, laughter is food for the soul.. I have had many very proud moments in my life, but one of my proudest moments was completing my masters degree in hospital administration.
