I am a mother of 5. I have been in the caregiving profession for over 10 years. I love to read, listen to music and journal. My mother was a foster mother so from a early age I seen the need to be of a help. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and then Parkinson's disease which my mother and I were her caregivers until her demise. I just recently lost my mother to cancer which my sister and I were her caregivers as well. I feel as if I can make the last days more memorable and help with anything that I can to make anyone life easier is a plus. We are here to help and it isn't always about what to get back in return. You help others because you would want someone to help you and be passionate about what they are doing and give the best care that they can.
