I am an LPNC, am 53 y/o female and have been working with people since age 19 when I became an nurses aide. I obtained my medication aide and after 10 years I decided to become a nurse. I really enjoy working with the elderly and learning from their wisdom. I can see areas for potential problems with their skin, nutritional input, adequate hydration. I have knowledge about medication. I don't remember my grandparents, they passed on when I was young, so this gives me a variety of people to enjoy in my life. I enjoy being their helper and learning about their families. Seeing pictures of them when they were young or just married. I am proud of the fact that I've never had a personal complaint from a resident in all my years of working with them reported to a supervisor.
