I became a caregiver because of a family member who became very ill. I became his caretaker and enjoyed taking care of him even though it was a difficult time for me. I became a caregiver when I was still going to school when I would visit the Elderly Home and assist the patient with bathing, feeding, take them for walks....then my dad took sick when I had to care for him. That's when I became a Caregiver.
