Hello I am a certified nursing assistant and I have been working in this field for 13 yrs. I am experienced in long term care, homecare, hospice, & assisted living. I have been trained to straight cath and pass meds. I love caring for others, putting smiles on their face and listening to their stories brings warmth to my heart.

My name is Rebecca. I've been a professional care giver for over 19years. I love my job because it has so many rewards within itself. I've managed a 6 man group home for the last 4 years with only minuscule issues. Regardless of the fact that I have children at home I'm quite flexible with scheduling although I would love to work mornings while my children are at school, it's not a must and I have no problem doing overtime.

What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. I am a patient, compassionate, good listener, kind, caring caregiver. I do skilled nursing, wound care, first aid, post surgery care for transitioning patients to homecare. My start in healthcare was volunteering at the Red Cross, church and community outreach , I have worked eight years at the Washtenaw County DHS with CLS/CMH organizations as consumer advocate . I have worked long years managing assisted living facilities, nursing homes, directing memory care units, training, teaching and mentoring. I have earned Bachelor's of Science from EMU and Surgical Technology program from WCC. I am passionate about helping people to better their lives and improve their health.
