I am a healthcare professional with 25+ years experience working in geriatric, memory care, dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I work in hospice care, palliative medicine, end of life care. I am a patient, compassionate, good listener, kind, caring caregiver. I do skilled nursing, wound care, first aid, post surgery care for transitioning patients to homecare. My start in healthcare was volunteering at the Red Cross, church and community outreach , I have worked eight years at the Washtenaw County DHS with CLS/CMH organizations as consumer advocate . I have worked long years managing assisted living facilities, nursing homes, directing memory care units, training, teaching and mentoring. I have earned Bachelor's of Science from EMU and Surgical Technology program from WCC. I am passionate about helping people to better their lives and improve their health.

What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. Regardless of the fact that I have children at home I'm quite flexible with scheduling although I would love to work mornings while my children are at school, it's not a must and I have no problem doing overtime.
