Hello I am a certified nursing assistant and I have been working in this field for 13 yrs. I am experienced in long term care, homecare, hospice, & assisted living. I have been trained to straight cath and pass meds. I love caring for others, putting smiles on their face and listening to their stories brings warmth to my heart.

I am a very passionate when it comes to helping others and health in general. I can understand others feelings from their perspective. I'm very attentive and dependable as well. I was attracted to caregiving because of my nurturing personality. I also have family who's been doing some sort of healthcare since I was young. I enjoy being able to make others feel good as it makes me feel good as well. Working with people where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I'm proud of the fact that I also help with caring for my Grandfather with Alzheimer's.

I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how. I became a caregiver because I feel like everyone deserves to be happy. I became a caregiver because I take pride in uplifting and inspiring other's while keeping myself positive and afloat to recycle love in a community. I love being a caregiver because the love you receive from caring for someone can help you be a better and greater person on a daily. A personal achievement I accomplished was to actually be able to tell my own mother no she can't smoke as I care for her cause she had 2 strokes and not feel bad about it because I know it's not good for her health. So while redirecting the consumers and giving them great advice on health issues comes from within.

I am caring, compassionate, and understanding. I realize that caring for anyone you are not just caring for the patient/case but for someone's loved one. This means that you are also caring for the family. The family must trust you and understand that all communications regarding their loved one is honest, accurate and confidential. I have been in the business of caring since 1998 both in Hospitals,private care facilities and in the home. Each location requires and demand a different approach but what never will not be compromised is that my case has priority, my companionship and the well being is always at the forefront. I have the ability to communicate with all levels of the medical community from patient transportation to the attending physician and nursing staff. I am CPR/First Aid Certified also with the latest automated on sight equipment. I feel that the person that I am caring for must and should remain a viable member of their community and should have as much professional and social interaction in that community that is reasonable contingent on their health and mental condition.
