My name is Consuela, I am 21 years old from Saginaw, MI . I have been working in this field since before graduating high school so about 4 years. I have experience with mental and physical health, I am very patient and determined. When caring for other you have to have the patience for trial and error and the ability to stay positive in these situation, I always remain calm positive and helpful. I do my best to provide the best care possible for all consumers. What attracted me to caregiver was caring for my grandmother mostly all of my life helping her with everyday living, and also my mother being a LPN and currently in school; she always inspired my passion to help other.

What attracted me to CareLinx was the opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life regularly. The opportunity to combine my experience, knowledge, and interests into one career so I can help other people during a part of life that can feel overwhelming. I worked in Healthcare settings for over 7 year's combine, spectrum Ludington Hospital and Tendercare retirement home. My primary role environmental services, housekeeping. However, I am friendly, have a keen observation skill, listen, learned simply thing's like how to help transfer a person safely, how to follow directions about mobility, and how to assist with toiletting. All of these skills I picked up made it helpful to relieve my Grandpa or my Aunt to stop for breaks in handy when I learned about hospice care for two of my Grandma's. I am comfortable with dementia, altimmers, Parkinson, MS, degenerative conditions, mental illness. I have been in hospitality for over 20 years whether its food service as server in my twenties. Or the last 6 plus year's of my mid and late thirties as I worked my way up the ladder into the Executive Housekeeping Manager position for a corporation. Although it was a wonderful experience that allowed me to grow into the Assistant General Manager Position and taught me how to efficiently run a business, oversee daily operations of staff while taking inventory and documentation of stock to place orders. I know HiPPA, how to maintain dignity and privacy. Also, I have my own PPE for working in a client's home. I am vaccinated and I know the standard for cleanliness when handling C-diff, Hep C, shingles, and some other infectious diseases. My goal is to finish all my online training through CareLinx to help provide you the nest possible service. I then intended to get CPR certified and look into as much training as I can to provide yourself or your loved one the most safe, kind, relaxed, and comfortable care service imaginable.

I have been in caregiving since 2021. I have worked in many assisted living facilities and have taken care of many patients ranging from those having dementia to not being able to move around as much as they use to. I'm very proud of how far I've come and proud of the connections I have made along the way!

I have the capacity to understand what others may not be able to communicate. I am empathetic to others needs and will go above and beyond to help them achieve their needs. My communication skills are excellent even in a non-communicative environment. My passion is elderly and disabled, whether that be mentally or physically. Everyone deserves a fair chance at a good life and I want to help others succeed. I am a very hardworking person as I also have the desire to provide thoroughly for my family as well. I find that elderly and disabled persons flock to me as they feel safe in my presence and know that that isn't always the case for them.

I truly love being a caregiver and helping my client. I treat my clients how I'd want my parents and grandparents to be treated. I listen to them and will sit down with them and talk or do whatever, if they are happy then I feel like I'm doing my job. I feel like there's always more to learn and I look forward to that and growing.. When I first became a caregiver for veterans I was excited to help and give back for all they have done for us and our country. It was a priceless feeling, it made me feel like I was truly making a difference . I feel now that helping anyone in need is of utmost importance and I want to be there in any way that I can to help. I have a huge heart and I just want to help and be the best caregiver possible. I feel like this is such an important career. To make somebody's day better and make them feel good about themselves is a great feeling to be able to have a hand in that. I'm especially proud of being able to save my clients' life. I showed up for my time with him and he was in his fenced-in backyard on the ground. He was almost 90 years old and he went outside with his dog (whom he loved so very much) the night before and ended up falling and he laid there calling for help all night, for about 18 hrs.) but none of the neighbors heard him unfortunately. He didn't even know that it rained the night before and he was so severely dehydrated. That was my first time ever being able to save somebody's life and luckily I had a shift that day with him and found him. I called 911 and his family member, to take care of his dog. I was beyond scared but I had a hand in saving his life and he was so happy to see me, thank God that he got terrific care and I found him in time. That was an unbelievably rewarding experience and it made me proud of my being a caregiver.

Hello my name is Kayla M Newell. I have two sons and a cat. My personality traits that help me be a good CNA is that I listen to every want/needs the resident may want fulfilled. I try my best to make the resident happy and comfortable in anyway possible. What attracted me to becoming a CNA is that I enjoy working with people, I enjoy hearing all the life stories and lessons learned from all my residents. I enjoy getting information from them about anything. I just enjoy being around all my residents. They make me feel like I'm at home. One of my favorite things about being a caregiver is that I am helping someone, in some way.
